Equity Tap collects personal and business information you choose to provide through its application, telephone conversations and correspondence. The website business enquiry form is submitted through a secured server-side gateway to the Equity Tap CRM, whether or not you tell us you own real estate.
What we collect
Information may include identity and contact details, business and entity details, requested funding, property security, existing liabilities, proposed use of funds, exit strategy and documents supplied for assessment.
How information is used
Information may be used to respond to enquiries, assess eligibility, verify identity and security, conduct legal and credit checks where appropriate, prepare documents, prevent fraud, maintain records and comply with law.
Enquiries without property security
Equity Tap funds business loans secured by real estate. If you tell us you do not have property available as security, we will still receive your enquiry in the Equity Tap CRM so our team can contact you about your options. We will not automatically send this website enquiry to Loans One. If a referral to another provider is appropriate, we will explain it before sharing your information.
Website measurement
Equity Tap uses Google Analytics 4 to measure website visits, traffic sources, engagement, and clicks on application and telephone links. Analytics uses first-party storage and pseudonymous device and session identifiers; the resulting data is not literally anonymous. We do not deliberately send names, email addresses, phone numbers, property addresses or application details to Analytics. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalisation and Google Signals are disabled. Google may process this measurement data on our behalf. Do not put sensitive personal information in website URLs.
Enquiry source tracking
We record the first page you visited on equitytap.com.au during a browser session and the page from which you opened our business enquiry form, along with campaign tags and advertising click identifiers where present (for example when you arrive from a Google or Meta ad). These details are sent with your enquiry to the relevant CRM to help us understand where applications began. We do not include form answers in this browser-session tracking.
